Organic farming’s integrated pest management practices – IPMWORKS factsheet
Are you an organic farmer or advisor in any of these countries or production systems? Are you or do you know a conventional farmer interested to reduce pesticide use? Then this fact sheet of pests and diseases, as well as measures to manage them might be for you.
The fact sheet includes cultural, mechanical/physical and biological control measures to deal with the most common pests in greenhouses, arable crops, outdoor vegetables and orchards. Results are based on organic practices by farms in Belgium, Spain, Italy, Poland and Finland that participate in the H2020-funded project IPMWORKS.
Read the full fact sheet for the organic sector of IPMWORKS. The described measures have been tested and proven successful in the farms involved in the project.
