Meet us at BIOFACH 2024
On 13-16 February the world’s leading organic trade fair, BIOFACH/VIVANESS, returns with its 2024 edition in Nuremberg, Germany. As the European umbrella organisation for organic food and farming, we are excited to (re)connect, engage, and collaborate with you on the latest developments in the sector during the trade show. Embracing our tradition, IFOAM Organics Europe is thrilled to announce our presence at the fair with a dedicated booth in hall 3A, booth 517, providing a lively hub for engaging with visitors. Furthermore, we are also organising a diverse range of congress sessions on the most pertinent topics within the organic sector.
Dive into our signature session: Policy Day
Join us for a compelling experience at our flagship session: Policy Day 2024, titled “State of play of current and future organic policies”. The session will take place on 13 February between 16:15 – 18:00 in room Shanghai and provide participants with a deeper understanding of the upcoming challenges and opportunities facing the organic movement.
This dynamic talk show-style event will delve into the future of the organic food and agriculture sector in the results of the 2024 European elections. Our high-level panelists, Janusz Wojciechowski – Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural development of the European Commission, Jan Plagge – President of IFOAM Organics Europe, Tom Chapman – CEO of Organic Trade Association, and Jürn Sanders – Head of the Department of Food System Sciences of FiBL Switzerland will engage in lively discussions and offer valuable insights into what the next five years might hold for our industry.
